Our name refers to the very essence of the company’s business – wood fiber from renewable platations – and it is also common to the history of both companies, established with determination and consistency.
Our symbol, the image of the leaf, represents the forests, with green as the main color.
What we stand for
The result of the merger between two major Brazilian companies in the global forestry industry is admirable. 91 years of Votorantim Group and 43 years of Aracruz. A new company with almost 135 years of fertile business and life in Brazil. We have grown up learning and we want to keep on learning, maintaining constructive relationships with everyone who believes in life as we do. More than growing, we want to improve our businesses and everybody who is part of it directly or indirectly. We want to create respected and acknowledged profit. The planted forest has to produce economic profit, but it also has to stimulate human, social and environmental development. This is how we understand and operate our forestry business: as a renewable and sustainable source of life.
