Our Geographic Footprint

In Brazil, Fibria has mills in Aracruz (Espírito Santo), Jacareí (São Paulo) and Três Lagoas (Mato Grosso do Sul). In Eunápolis (Bahia), it holds, via a joint venture with Stora Enso, a 50% interest in Veracel. Its total annual pulp production capacity is 7.25 million tons.

The company’s forest area, which measures 1.092 million hectares, is spread across the states of Espírito Santo, Bahia, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Rio de Janeiro.  Of this total, more than one-third, or 374,000 hectares, is destined for the conservation of native vegetation, 656,000 hectares are destined for planted forests and 61,000 hectares are reserved for other uses, such as roads and infrastructure.
