2018

  • Top of Mind LEC Compliance, in the category of Financial Compliance Professional for Adjarbas Guerra, Fibria’s Chief of Governance, Risks and Compliance;
  • ABTCP Highlights Awards 2018, winner in the categories Forestry Development and Market Pulp Producer;
  • UPM Changshu Supplier Award, Fibria recognized as the Best Strategic Partner by UPM;
  • The Horizonte 2 Project was chosen as one of the three best projects in the world by the PMI Project of the Year Awards, organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), based on the excellence adopted in project management practices;
  • Aberje Awards Regional São Paulo 2018, for the project “Unique People and Their Stories”, in the category Digital Media;
  • Marcelo Castelli, CEO of Fibria, garnered the Business Leader Award 2018 (Prêmio Líder Empresarial). The company also was named a highlight among large-sized companies in Espírito Santo.
  • Institutional Investor magazine’s ranking for 2018 names the companies that best interact with investors and the market. Fibria ranked first in the Pulp and Paper industry in Latin America in five categories:
    • Best IR Professional: Camila Nogueira, our IR manager;
    • Best IR Program;
    • Best Analyst Day: for the annual events Fibria Day and Investor Tour;
    • Best Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics: this is a new category in the survey that measures the market’s perception of metrics related to Sustainability in the context of Investor Relations work;

  • Best of Dinheiro, from the magazine IstoÉ Dinheiro, named Fibria the Best Company in the Pulp & Paper Industry for the fifth time in a row;

2017

  • The 100 Leaders with the Best Reputation in Brazil, from the Spanish consulting firm Merco, for Fibria CEO Marcelo Castelli, which was listed in 67th place;
  • IT Executive of the Year Award, from the magazine IT Media, for Wilson Roberto Lopes, IT General Manager, who was elected one of the three best IT executives in the plastics, rubber and pulp & paper industries;
  • Valor Executive, from the newspaper Valor Econômico, for Marcelo Castelli, who was elected best executive in the pulp & paper industry. This was the first time that Castelli has won this award;
  • Corporate Sustainability Champions, from the NGO Rainforest Alliance, in honor of Fibria on the NGO’s 30th anniversary;
  • Sustainability Awards 2017, from the British magazine Capital Finance International (CFI.co), for Best ESG Forestry Management, in South America;
